Are they not so gorgeous, they make me itch even more for garden where everything doesn't seem to shrivel up regardless of what I try to do to help the soil.

I have reached a hurdle with my pullover in the way that the pattern changed & i could no longer knit it without checking the pattern constantly but I plan to persevere tonight.
My boys second week at school has gone well, he seems happy to go but also gratefull for the rest of the weekend, we have plans to make a cake & try another batch of cheese making using my new book the home creamery my previous attempts have lacked some instruction that this provides, I think among other things I need to stop trying to make fractions of batches in case it doesn't work as I then need to ajust starters & rennet & everything heats or cools faster than instructed using 4 litres of milk is a lot at the same time as not being, It's $4 & 3 days worth of milk but if it works it could be better than the bought stuff.
With that in mind I would love to try to source local milk preferably that hasn't been separated & mucked around with given how good what little I have tried that was unadulterated was.
One of these days when I have space I want a cow or goats for milk I like goats they have so much personality we had a bunch when I was a child & I loved them except when out buck got all territorial & peed on me.
We used to keep goats in the Territory, but don't have any here. I used to quite enjoy the milking, sort of the same as growing your own food. The self-reliant self-sufficient factor.
