Tonight I am sad & shocked, I had heard earlier this week that the mother of 2 friends (one of whom feels like family) was very ill but she has been for a decade, this evening I was told that she has liver failure & too many other issues for a transplant to be considered, That she has been on a respirator for several days now & is not expected to last the week.
I find it hard to believe that this is happening so soon, the beginning of a new stage of grief for my friends to be in the position of losing a parent, I wish that I could be of any help at this time.
I do not understand death, it feels so hostile.
